Resources
The website primarily holds resources and materials on the subjects that combines my academic works. For people who works with or are interested in the same fields, themes and subjects I give presentations of the materials and resources that I find and use. This I do to establish a more advanced environment for dialog and discussion for the benefit of the academic results. So, I play with open cards! Or as my generation call it: open source.
The different resource-pages combines links, which can also be found under the separate links-section here, downloads, which can be found under the separate download-section here, and a lot of difficult words and technical terms, which mostly offers definitions where they appear and are all gathered in my local glossary here. The visitors will also notice, that I use footnotes all over the site – its a link that will bring you back and forth between the bottom note and the place in the text.
Events
A part of the information gathered on this website is interesting and important dates for conferences lectures or whatever may catch my I on the go.
Guides (planned release fall08)
The guides section hold technical guides for students and scholars about different ways of work ones way around the challenges we all have. It is about taking advantage of the possibilities we have on computers and on the Internet. E.g. How to create and work with PDF’s or guides about setting up a paper or dissitation with and advanged use of Microsoft Word and thereby taking advantage of features that are in rare use but available AND that can save you a lot of time. Get it right, get equipped!
RSS Feed
Its a technology that gets you new stuff from websites, so instead of visiting 20 websites every week a RSS reader gets you all the new stuff and only the new stuff from the websites. Very attractive time saving technology.
